What is the rule about Canadians going to the USA for part-time classes?
can they go WITHOUT any kind of visa or I-20 if they are attending a class at a university for 8 weeks, 8 hours a week, and will be staying on campus for the entire 8 weeks?
Yes, I will NOT be working throughout the duration of the course, and actually my main purpose would be to travel-sight-see in addition to taking the class on the side.
As a part-time student living in the U.S.while attending classes, the school would not be able to issue and I-20 form. Only full-time students are able to receive an I-20 form. Canadians are exempt the student visa stamp in their passports (the actual visa issued by a consulate).
